Moje propozycje to mocno osadzone w stylistyce bluesowo-soulowej „Outta season” i „The Hunter” z okresu „współpracy” z Ikem Turnerem. Obie płyty zrealizowane w 1969 roku.
„Outta Season” to powrót do bluesowych korzeni Ike’a i Tiny. Long Years”, „Dust My Broom”, „My Babe” a przede wszystkim znakomite wykonanie utworu Otisa Readinga „I've Been Loving You Too Long”.
Ike&Tina Turner „Outta Season”
Partie gitary solowej popełnił w tych nagraniach znany gitarzysta bluesowy Albert Collins. Płytę wypełniają głównie standardy bluesowe jest także funkująca kompozycja Ike Tunera „Bold Soul Sister”.
Ike&Tina Turner "The Hunter"
