Jak się spojrzy na przeciętnego bluesowego gitarnika i na to co trzymie w łapach to w zasadzie podział idzie po równo - albo Fender Stratocaster albo Gibson LP. Nie tak często trzymane, ale prawie równie popularne są Telecastery (które uwielbiam, nawiasem mówiąc).
Gdzieś tam dalej plasuje się inna znakomita gitara - Gibson Flying V, czyli popularna V-ka, mówiąc po naszemu.
Wielbicielem V-ek jest postać na tym forum znana, lubiana, szanowana i inne nananana, mianowicie sam Wielki Joe. Wiecie albo nie wiecie, ale Wielki Joe udziela się często w audycjach prowadzonych przez tzw. Pickup Radio. No i ostatnio była właśnie taka ciekawa audycja, w której Wielki Joe, z właściwym sobie poczuciem humoru przeprowadził pogawędkę z redaktorem, na temat tejże właśnie gitary - Gibson Flying V.

Tak czy inaczej, jako prawdziwy fanboj Wielkiego Joe nie mogłem nie zareagować na tak jasno postawioną wskazówkę. I oto jest! Od pewnego czasu arsenał gitarowy Mean Machine zasila ten oto piękny instrument:
Jest to Gibson V Traditional. Ślicznotka - zgrabna, błyszcząca i wyjątkowo dobrze brzmiąca. Pochodzi z limitowanej serii wyprodukowanej dla amerykańskiego Guitar Center, stąd binding i nietypowy układ potencjometrów, a także korpus zmniejszony o 4% w stosunku do oryginału. Do tego fabryczny coil-split.
Jak już znajdziemy wokalistę do zespołu (oby prędko), będziecie mogli zobaczyć i usłyszeć ją na koncertach.
