Artysta bardzo w UK ceniony. Jest i byl muzycznym autorytetem dla wielu uznanych slaw. Niedawno uslyszalem w poswieconej mu audycji iz jest najciekawszym wspolczesnym gitarzysta. Czesto slyszymy taka opinie w UK i to od ludzi profesjonalnie zwiazanych z muzyka.
Richard Thompson zadebiutowal w 1967 roku w znakomitej kapeli Fairport Convention. Mial wtedy 17 lat. Gral bez przerw i gra nadal. Wystepuje duzo i czesto. Koncertuje na calym swiecie. W lipcu zobaczymy go {kolejny juz raz} w Southampton.
