"B.R. BAND", czyli...

"Bogdan Rumiak Band" to trio blues-rockowe powstałe pod koniec 2015 roku, wykorzystujące w swojej twórczości także elementy jazzu, swingu i fusion.
Reprezentują nowatorskie, niebanalne podejście do bluesa. Media określiły ich muzykę jako blues progresywny.
Doceniani za wysoki poziom muzyczny, własne teksty i kompozycje, autorski program koncertów, świetny kontakt z publicznością i energię płynacą ze sceny.

Liderem zespołu jest Bogdan Rumiak - załozyciel śląskiej grupy Mr.Blues. Pasjonat bluesa, organizator dwóch festiwali bluesowych: Rybnik Blues festival (pierwszych 8 edycji) oraz aktualnie Żorskiego aMOKu Bluesowego.
Laureat tegorocznej Nagrody Kulturalnej Prezydenta Miasta Żory w kategorii "Upowszechnianie Kultury".

Skłąd zespołu:
Bogdan Rumiak - gitara, wokal;
Jerzy Szyja - gitara basowa;
Adam Barański - perkusja.

Koncert zespołu jest najczęściej planowany jako jednoczęściowe show bez przerw z playlistą ustalaną w ostatnich minutach przed wyjściem zespołu na scenę.
Tradycją koncertów B.R. BANDu jest organizowane po koncercie "After Party", czyli bluesowe jam session do upadłego!
