`Afrykanski Snieg' (`African Snow') is a release which brings a lot of freshness, originality and stylistic dissimilarity into the Polish market. Los Agentos created a specific, soft sound mélange. All compositions are joint by intimacy mood and, though discreet, the tones form tricky harmony and one imbibes them just like the air! Every single musician who took part in the recording session for `Afrykanski Snieg' has got his own music personality, his own melodic sense. And that is why the music, though rather raw, is sprightly, vivid and filled with vigor and inspiration. Not only did I enjoy this album very much but also I am sure that connoisseurs of what is the most beautiful in music will be amazed by `Afrykanski Snieg'!

The album surprises the listener from the first minute and is held in suspense until the very end. Instead of traditional drums, we find here African instruments, the lazy sounds of harmonica and guitar lead tracks without there being any long solos. Nevertheless, after the first listen, it appears that there is not anything lacking. Everything fits together and is embedded in an appropriate manner, all elements are used in good taste and these factors culminate in creating the weaving nature of the album. And suddenly we find out what `Afrykanski Snieg' is. Like the music on the album, it turns out to be a delicate and almost ephemeral impression that we should catch, because it might never come again.

`African Snow' is one of the most original releases on Polish blues scene, as musicians play with styles and arrangements, building a musical novel made of songs with different flavors. With all that in mind it is surely hard to call it straight blues, but it is for sure damn good music. Isn't that what it is all about?

`Afrykanski Snieg' is, for now, one of the best Polish releases of recent years. It's nearly impossible not to rave with this sound.

The music recorded on the album is highly eclectic. We can find echoes of world music here. Mainly thanks to some exotic percussion instruments used by Andrzej Serafin, but also with original compositions and an extraordinary arrangement. We can find here kind of rock ballad, although in an unusual arrangement and instrumentation. There's also blues music... Even though musicians drew from so many different sources, we get consistent and very interesting album as a result of their work. During first hearing every song is a nice surprise. However, when the listener decides to re-encounter with the music, the order of songs is obvious. Experienced music lovers should be prepared for multiple déjà vu. But each time those are sounds from a whole different story that can not be confused with any other album, nor a song.
